Analytics
Analytics has four sections: net worth over time, income against expenses, a tax year summary and dividend yield against portfolio weight. A currency toggle at the top of the page changes the display currency.
Net worth over time
A stacked chart with a financial year selector and one point for each month up to today. It adds three parts:
- Portfolio is the market value from your daily snapshots, not cost.
- Savings is your cumulative income minus expenses. It is a running total of what you have recorded, not a bank balance.
- Super is your latest superannuation balance on or before each month end, in AUD.
A snapshot is saved only when you open Portfolio and prices refresh, so some days are missing. Each point is a cumulative balance at month end, so choosing a financial year trims what is plotted and never the totals.
Income against expenses
Bars for income and expenses with a net line, for every month of the financial year you pick up to today. A month with no activity shows as zero.
Tax year summary
Pick a financial year and a display currency. The summary lists:
| Row | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Gross income | What it showsAll income in the year, expandable by type. Filter the types with the chips. |
| Total expenses | What it showsAll spending in the year, expandable by category. |
| Net cashflow | What it showsGross income minus total expenses. |
| Dividend income | What it showsDividends in the year, filtered by the portfolios you choose. Dividend entries are already inside gross income, so do not add them again. |
| Total value traded | What it showsThe gross proceeds of your sales in the year. |
| Super contributions | What it showsEmployer and concessional contributions for the year. |
This is a summary of your own records. It is not a tax return or tax advice, so check the figures with your accountant.
Dividend yield against portfolio weight
Horizontal bars compare each holding's weight with its dividend yield, with a table underneath. Only tickers with recorded dividends appear.
